When you commission a piece from me, you receive a unique, custom-designed artwork in my signature graphic style, tailored specifically for you, your brand, business, or product. This ensures that no one else will have the same piece—it’s exclusively yours.
1- What is an art commission?
An art commission is a custom piece of artwork that I create specifically for you or your business at a fair price. Unlike the fee an art gallery charges when purchasing an existing piece, an art commission involves working directly with the artist to bring your concept or idea to life in a unique, custom-made artwork that fits your needs.
2- How does it work?
The process begins when you request a quote for the type of custom artwork you need—whether it’s for a t-shirt design, an album cover, a skate deck, a book cover, or a canvas painting. You’ll provide details like the size of the artwork and the deadline. Once the quote is approved and the advance payment is made, I’ll begin working on your project according to the agreed timeline.
3- What do you get from an art commission?
You receive a completely original piece of artwork that is custom-made by me and tailored exclusively for you. This includes any necessary copyright arrangements to ensure the artwork is uniquely yours.
4- What is the process?
The process starts with a written script outlining your concept or idea. I then create a rough sketch to establish the composition and rhythm of the piece. Once this is approved, I proceed with a clean and detailed pencil sketch, adding final shading and line work for your review.
For some artworks, there is an inking stage after the pencil sketch, followed by the coloring process. In the case of paintings, I conduct a brief color test before starting the acrylic painting on canvas. The final stage is the delivery of your commissioned artwork.
The cost and timing of art commissions vary depending on the complexity of the artwork.
