Children book illustration is a unique aspect of my work, where I create vibrant, engaging artwork that brings stories to life and captivates young readers.
I first made my first commissioned children illustrated book back in 2004. I developed a cartoon-ish style that fit the age range of the kids and their likes.
For every book I make, I create the graphic concept of each character, backgrounds and every single element on them, by researching further than the information clients gave me.
The time to make an entire illustrated book depends a lot of the amount of illustrations it will content, i.e.: A standard 44 pages book will have one cover artwork, a couple of small illustrations for introduction and the last page, 15 single page illustrations and 4 double-page illustrations. For a project with similar features, it will take me 25-30 business days to deliver the artworks.
