NANYE-HI

A commissioned t-shirt artwork that began with a pencil sketch from a original picture of Nanye-Hi, a native American Cherokee warrior-woman and political leader who lived in the late 1700’s. From the Cherokee: ᎾᏅᏰᎯ: “One who goes about”.

Once I got the sketch approved, I went into inking over a 250gm Bristol board with Dr. Ph. Martin’s Blackstar ink. And finally I got the line-art scanned and colored digitally.
