Beer label artwork
OLD SKULL is an illustration I made for my personal skull & zombie collection series “Zombie-Nation“ in the last days of November and early days of December 2014.
I published this original artwork in 20,000 printed postcards with the company GOCARD in December 2014, that were available in the most exclusive restaurants and venues across Lima.
The same month I collaborate with the HENSLEY BAR using my artwork in their 4th anniversary beer bottle label, a -limited edition- “Barbarian” crafted beer, now a collection item.
From that time I produced this artwork in stickers, art-prints, coffee mugs, buttons and also a spraypaint stencil.
In June 2018 my artwork was screenprinted and become part of an international art-exhibit “SKATE ART & PHOTO EXHIBIT” in the famous Rock Cafe, Prague.
In the next years, in collaboration with HENSLEY BAR, we produced T-Shirts, Hats, Leggins, longsleeve shirts, tank-top shirts, vinyl stickers, also a limited edition skateboard deck, coffee mugs, buttons, short pants, beach towels, jackets, and totebags.
Nowadays, this artwork become the most iconic illustration I made, along skateboarders worldwide. And is one of my most known signature characters ever created.
THE PROCESS:
Started from pencil sketch, then some inking and finally digital vector using only mouse-click.
