Given full creative freedom, Corpz developed a four-color illustration from concept through final production-ready artwork, combining gaming culture, underground comic influences, and his signature lowbrow visual style into a character-driven design created specifically for screen-print production.

Developed across multiple annual releases since 2019, the collection combines horror nostalgia, skateboarding culture, and Corpz’s signature lowbrow visual style into a growing lineup of character-driven designs. The artwork has been featured on apparel, mugs, stickers, and other collectible merchandise distributed through SuperZooka’s online and retail stores.

The concept idea was around humanity as zombie-puppets, guided by a elite of power portrayed by rats in suits.

As all my process it begins with a Blackwing pencil sketch, later I ink the artwork with a brush and a quill pen ink over a 250gr Lana Papier hi-quality french Bristol board.

The art concept behind this t-shirt was done with the band, where the main idea was to show “the beast within” we all have, done in my own style and of course with a obvious Lovecraftian reference.

I started with a Blackwing pencil sketch on my sketchbook, and later I used a brush, a quill pen, and lots of black ink over a 250gr Lana Papier hi-quality french Bristol board.

Once I got the pencil sketch approved, I went into inking over a 250gm Bristol board with Dr. Ph. Martin’s Blackstar ink.

And finally I got the line-art scanned and colored digitally for a 10 color screen-printing.

Started from pencil sketch, then some markers to “ink” the drawing and finally digital vector drawing using only mouse and Adobe Illustrator.

I was doodling this greaser skull back in 2014 but it kept in pencil sketch when HENSLEY BAR‘s owner Lucho asked me to made a skull for flyer. After the local success with the design, it went directly into a special edition tshirts and after that a collection postcards.

They commissioned me to make this t-shirt design, mixing their motorcycle vision and my artist style for their grand store opening.

As always, I began with a pencil sketch. Once approved, I had went really old school on this one: using the same tools I get to use 24 years ago to get straight lines, well defined curves and perfect circles and elipses. I use Rotring Variant Technical Pen, Circle and Elipse rulers, the french curve rulers and of course some Gelly Roll white corrector, brush and pen. The color was made digitally.

I went from pencil sketch through traditional inking to digital coloring.

I already had in mind for the colors, shading and mood of the design, those 80’s gloomy and eerie horror movie tshirts.

I do some lettering for this one too and use old school toxic neon colors!

The process is the same as always: First I have the pencil sketch, then inking over a 250gm Bristol board with Dr. Ph. Martin’s Blackstar ink, and finally I got the line-art scanned and colored digitally.

I also make a bunch of die-cut stickers with a brown background variant.
